What this tool does
Spread a course, exam or project goal across the days you can actually study and reserve time for review.
How to use it
- Enter the focused study hours you want to complete.
- Enter the number of days available and the length of one session.
- Add a review allowance and check the daily plan.
Formula and method
Planned hours = target hours × (1 + review allowance). Hours per day = planned hours ÷ study days. Total sessions are rounded up.
Example
A 40-hour goal across 20 days, with 50-minute sessions and 25% review time, becomes 50 planned hours: 2.5 hours and 3 sessions per day.
Useful for
- Planning study before an exam
- Scheduling an online course
- Reserving review time for a learning project
Limits and notes
This is an even daily split. Adjust it for subject difficulty, breaks, changing availability and your actual concentration.
Frequently asked questions
Should I include days off?
Enter only days when you can realistically study. Compare a lower day count if your schedule is uncertain.
Are breaks included?
No. The result is focused study time; add breaks and setup time separately.
