What this tool does
Distribute new topics from a start date and add retrieval reviews at chosen day intervals before the exam, then export an ICS calendar.
How to use it
- Enter your values: Start date, Exam date, Topics (one per line).
- Build review calendar
- Result: Unique topics, Total sessions, Last new-topic date, Topics not scheduled.
Formula and method
Topics are assigned in order using the daily new-topic limit. Reviews are added at each unique interval only when the date falls before the exam.
Worked example
Starting September 1 for a September 20 exam, two topics per day with 1, 3, 7 and 14-day intervals creates a visible review workload.
Useful for
- Building an exam calendar
- Spacing vocabulary reviews
- Exporting to a phone calendar
Limits and notes
The schedule does not judge mastery or automatically move overloaded days. Adjust topics per day and intervals, and leave time for practice exams and rest.
