What this tool does
Use the measured dimensions of repeated boxes or storage bins to compare their basic volume with the space allowed for packing gaps.
How to use it
- Measure one box in centimetres: length, width and height.
- Enter the number of equal-size boxes and an optional packing allowance.
- Review one-box volume, the basic total and the allowance-adjusted volume.
Formula and method
One-box volume in m³ = length(cm) × width(cm) × height(cm) ÷ 1,000,000. Multiply by quantity, then add the percentage allowance.
Example
Ten boxes measuring 50×40×30cm occupy 0.6m³ before allowance. Adding 10% gives 0.66m³, or 660L.

Limits and notes
Furniture, appliances, irregular shapes, gaps between objects, disassembly and loading order are not modelled. Confirm usable volume and weight limits with the carrier or storage provider.
